| Additional Information | dac® DHA PERFORM is a docosahexanoic Acid (DHA) supplement that may help reduce inflammation associated with training and competition in all classes of horses. Omega 3 fatty acids include a-linolenic acid (ALA, plant sources such as flax), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA, marine sources such as algae), and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA, marine sources such as algae). There is NO EPA/DHA in any plants like flax, chia, hemp etc. The body does not utilize ALA directly, it must first be converted to EPA and DHA this conversion rate is poor. In order to be reaping the benefits of Omega 3 fatty acids we need to feed direct sources of DHA. |

| Directions For Use | Administer dac® DHA PERFORM at the following rates: Horses: Maintenance 2 oz. per horse/day dac® DHA PERFORM should be introduced gradually to avoid refusal. dac® DHA PERFORM should be introduced gradually a minimum of 60 days prior to the first intended date of breeding. Administer based on 1000 lb. horse. Administration should be adjusted according to body weight. CAUTIONS: If animal’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian. Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. An examination from a veterinarian is recommended prior to using this product. WARNINGS: Not for human consumption. Keep out of the reach of children and animals. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately. This product should not be given to animals intended for human consumption.
